Is your child getting old enough to manage their own inhalers or need a review to make sure they have the correct technique? Is vaping becoming an issue for your teenager? Is your child using two or more puffs of their reliever inhaler each week? Our Practice nurse or GP would be happy to assess your child’s current status, asthma education and medication dosage – all of which need to change with time as they grow.

For adults with Medical or Doctor visit cards; you can enrol in the Chronic Disease Management Programme to avail of free 6 monthly asthma check ups.

Don’t forget those with asthma are advised to have winter vaccination for Flu and Covid (children with severe asthma). Children’s Flu vaccines are given by nasal spray age 2-17.
